At GCB, we have adopted the Cambridge International programme because we believe that preparing a student for the future goes far beyond simply learning subject content.
From Pre-school, through the Cambridge Early Years programme, and throughout their school years, our pupils develop an international education that fosters critical thinking, independence, communication skills, problem-solving and the ability to apply their learning to real-life situations, shaping them into confident, responsible, reflective and innovative individuals, equipped to navigate a globalised world with confidence.

IB: Critical Thinking with a Global Perspective
Since 2021, GCB has been part of the global network of IB World Schools, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 10 and 11—one of the world’s most respected and internationally recognised educational programmes.
The IB encourages students to think critically, conduct independent research, develop well-reasoned arguments, connect knowledge across disciplines and understand the world through multiple cultural and human perspectives.
Beyond academic achievement, the programme develops independence, reflection, communication, enquiry and the ability to respond thoughtfully and responsibly to global challenges.
At GCB, students graduate with the Colombian High School Diploma and may also earn the IB Diploma, an internationally recognised qualification that opens pathways to universities in Colombia and around the world.
